• FAS/SEL: Per rules will be a minimum of 83% clear. However, our imported hardwoods are close to being all clear. Widths will be 6" and wider allowing a small percentage of 4" and 5". Lengths are 8' and longer.
  
• FAS/SEL 6' and 7' only: Widths are 6" and wider allowing a small percentage of 4" and 5".
• 1 & 2 Common: Our common grade is mainly due to some wave or twist and some checks. Ideal for small cuttings. Widths are 4" and wider, heavy 6" and wider. Lengths are 6' and longer, heavy 8' and longer.
• 1 Common only: Per rules 2/3rds clear with specified cutting. Main defects are knots, 4" and wider, heavy 6" and wider. 6' and longer.

Our lumber is typically sold in units, or bundles, while our decking may be sold as needed with no minimum under our “One Deck At A Time™” program.  Your order size, however, may affect the shipping method and cost.

We typically ship from our location in Philadelphia, PA, and will ship anywhere within the continental United States.

In most cases there are shipping and handling costs, which will vary per order and depending on method, distance, weight and numerous other factors.

Shipping times vary depending on numerous factors, such as availability of stock, how many orders we are processing at that time, how large your order is and how far away you are. Check with your sales representative to get an idea based on current circumstances. We will try to give you our best estimate when we complete your order, and we will communicate with you when your order has shipped.

If your business is located in the State of Pennsylvania, you must supply us with a sales tax exemption (reseller) form.  Otherwise you are responsible for reporting any sales tax due in your state.

Any problems with your order should be reported within 24 hours of receiving the product. Go to the Contact Us tab and call or e-mail us with any inquiries concerning a problem. We will work with you to find the fastest, most effective solution to the problem.

All sales are considered final at time of purchase - when the order is paid for (your credit card details have been submitted to us for payment). You will be charged a 5% restocking fee if you cancel your order after payment has been received.

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We may choose to extend lines of credit to customers who pay their accounts on time.

Thompson Mahogany Company respects the privacy of the people who use our websites. This Privacy Policy sets out what we do to protect the personal information which users of our website may provide.

Disclosing Personal Information. We will not generally disclose your personal information to anyone outside of Thompson Mahogany Company without your consent, unless required to do so by law.

Personal Information. A user can browse our websites without providing any personal information. However, to access some services, we may ask the user to provide limited information about themselves such as name, email address and credit card details (if purchasing from us online).

When you purchase from us online, we collect credit card information for invoicing purposes only. This information is processed by our credit card partner and Thompson Mahogany Company using security techniques to prevent unauthorized use of information provided.

The information we ask users to provide will be used primarily to provide users with the information they request via our websites, for example to provide product quotes and information on our woods.

Anonymous Information. Thompson Mahogany Company may collect certain anonymous, non-personal web log information (such as your web browser and the pages visited). The purpose of this information is to learn about the users of our websites in general and improve our overall offering and appeal.
Using your Personal Information. We may wish to use your personal information to contact you, for example to send you marketing information and we may respond to your comments or requests for information. We also use personal information volunteered by the users of our websites to make sure that our service and product offering is relevant to the users of our websites.

Thompson Mahogany Company occasionally sends visitors emails describing new products. You may request to opt-out of these services completely, at any time. You may also ask us to provide a copy of your personal information, ask us to update your information and ask us to remove your personal information from our records, at any time.
